You have told me the story before, and even though I deal with babies on a day-to-day basis and hear all the sad and happy stories... this was amazing. I love seeing you or Booby sitting in the foyer at church holding your boys, it is so sweet. I can say that, if you are in the foyer with them you are probably not thinking the word "sweet," at that moment. Anyways, you are a great writer Sabs, I wish I had a knack for that. It would make my grad courses a lot easier!!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525716159825042214.post-20364418288118233692009-02-11T10:35:00.000-08:002009-02-11T10:35:00.000-08:00Thanks for sharing that wonderful story. What an absolute miracle. People think we don't have miracles anymore because science has advanced so far but how did it advance so far? Our Father in Heaven is the master scientist and I'm so glad He inspired men and women to create that incredible machine to save your little guy's life. I'm sure Strider has many more miracles to be part of in his life - ones that he will make happen because of his greatness.Lisa Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787764567921521931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525716159825042214.post-78703571282167309832009-02-08T19:35:00.000-08:002009-02-08T19:35:00.000-08:00That is an incredible story Sabra! I was always amazed at the babies on Ecmo! The Ecmo machines were right behind our pod! Yes, your cute little son is a miracle!
We saw many babies on ecmo machines for a lot longer and a lot of babies that didn't make it!
We are so happy for your miracle!
There is something about NICU that stays with you forever! I still think about all those little babies! We saw babies that had no families or were abandoned.
It's always great to hear about happy endings and see babies with great families!Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08038100264847155523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525716159825042214.post-16398569441173449382009-02-07T08:58:00.000-08:002009-02-07T08:58:00.000-08:00wow.seriously that's all i can say. thanks for...wow.
seriously that's all i can say.
thanks for sharing. my rylee & i have a story similiar to this.cj savagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05054309694086535694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1525716159825042214.post-85430898840495108562009-02-07T00:33:00.000-08:002009-02-07T00:33:00.000-08:00The picture with all the wires is a keeper. My sister's last baby had quite a few, but I've never seen that many machines and wires and tubes for just one baby.
