"I wonder where the time has gone." My grandmother would say it. My mother would say it. It seemed like something only "old" people said. Now, I'm saying it.
My boy is growing up. The loss of a first baby tooth is a big moment. It's the beginning of the end of childhood. I handled his first two baby teeth down below just fine, but this top, big tooth has got me thinking.
This boy is the reason I started blogging. He has spray painted my car, busted Mallory's glasses into tiny pieces (multiple times), popped hundreds of holes into a new leather chair, destroyed my bedroom with a bottle of ketchup, hammered holes in the exterior of our home, and so so so much more. I constantly wondered what I was doing wrong.
Life moves faster the older one gets it seems. Now, I wonder where life will take my boy.
Enjoy each moment. Life is full of wonder.

Lem(m)onade Time!
We gather lemons from Grandpa and Grandma's trees each year around this time and make lemonade. This year, Mallory came to me asking if she could help make the lemonade. I agreed. Next thing we know, we have much help.
What was really happening.
Many hands make light work.
The next day we bring out the lemonade for dinner, and the pitcher gets dropped. The pitcher broke, and we had lemonade everywhere. Fun!!!

Joan's Visit!
Joan came for a week. For some reason I only have two pictures. They are both of her eating. Weird. She brought Shawn, and we had some good laughs.
The Happy Chef hard at work.
Some serious gaming.

Sisters' Retreat 2!
My sisters and I were able to hang out all together a couple of weeks ago. This has not happened in four years. We had a blast, and it went way too fast.
I'm so grateful for fabulous sisters.

Five Year Miracle!
My "Littlest Babe" turned five today. My heart is full. Everything he does is nothing short of a miracle. I was reminded of this yesterday, when I ran into the lady that handled his transport from YRMC to UMC for ECMO. She said she's done many, many transports, but she never forgets an ECMO baby. Their condition is so fragile when they are flown out. Many of them never transport back. We were told he may never walk, eat, hear, or see. This picture says otherwise:
Happiest Birthday, Babes!

PPP!
Peter Piper is my least favorite place to go, but Bobby and the kids love it. Aunt Vickie treated the kids to PPP for Christmas.
My favorite part of our visits to Triple P is seeing what Tiny can charm out of the person behind the prize counter.

Boundaries!
Since getting new carpet, we don't allow food or drinks in the game room.
I just about tripped over this the other day:
This is right where the tile ends and the carpet begins.
