New Moon!

Shannon, Devra, and I reserved the largest theatre at Harkins for this year's New Moon premier! We will have 300 tickets available for this event. The most exciting part is the fact that Summit has allowed us to view the movie at 9:00 p.m. rather than midnight. This is an exclusive opportunity. We will have our pre-party, the giveaways, and we have blocked off the first three rows of seats so no one gets a bad seat. The price is set at $20.00. This is a wee bit higher than last year's price. This is due to a price increase in the reservation of the theatre, and the fabulous party we are planning. If you are interested let me know, but tickets aren't officially on sale until September 25th! Join us and be the first in Yuma to see New Moon!

Tatted!

My boys are obsessed with temporary tattoos. I remember Mallory going through the same phase. At The Treehouse, Jada, has been fueling these boys with tattoo after tattoo. It doesn't help that Filiberto's right across the parking lot has a tattoo vending machine. Each day my boys run across with Bobby or Jada and try their luck at the machine. This tattoo is by far my favorite, thus far.

First Days!

Catching The Bus!

Kibbee, Frannie (for you Joan), and Buddy!

Buddy's First Day Back To Hand In Hand (tattoo post coming soon)!

I didn't want to post the girls' first day photos until Maverick had his first day to go along. Today was his first day of preschool for the 2009-2010 year. He will be attending five days a week, and he was very excited to get started. My ladies were also very motivated to get back into the routine of school, homework, piano, and gymnastics (for Kibbee).

Need I Say More, Folks?

Okay, okay...I have to say more. This kid is too much! I pulled out the camera, and these were the poses he pulled out of nowhere.

Favorite?

I mentioned in my last post that my grandma has a gift for making everyone feel special, and we all think we are her favorite. BUT...I think these pictures (if you look closely) will prove who is actually her favorite. Granted, many of her grandchildren were not present, but all of her children were and some key grandchildren were in attendance. I'd say the proof has been caught on camera. Anyone else see it?

We all met up for a special night in honor of my grandmother. It was a night full of laughs and even a few tears. Many memories were shared, but this was my favorite: One of her daughters wanted to drop out of college, and my grandma wrote her a letter, and it read, "The Lord will see to it that all the birds are fed, but he won't drop the food in the nest." This story fits my grandmother to a tee.

This Lady Is 80!

I have, hands down, the most amazing grandmother in the history of grandmothers. No! She is the most amazing woman in the history of women!

Today is my grandma's 80th birthday. She still runs a farm, a convenient store, and a family. She still irrigates if that tells you anything!

Things that make Evelyn Duke Berryman amazing would be her wisdom, her kindness, her unconditional love, her strength, and strong will. She can tell the best Peter Rabbit stories, and she still offers to rock me in her rocking chair when I'm sad or tired.

Back in 1981 we were introduced. I was six years old and looking for love and acceptance. My soon to be mother introduced us, and I didn't want to leave. She made me feel as though I was her favorite girl on earth, and she still does that today. Funny thing is, as I've aged I see she makes everyone feel like they are the favorite. That's a special gift.

This is my fabulous grandmother and her fantastic sister! This is also why I hate when two people try to take a group's picture at the same time. It just doesn't work, folks!
