Living On The Edge!

Bob and I decided the other day at the very last possible minute to go to Disneyland. We have year passes that are about to expire. We have never taken the boys, and the girls went about 18 months ago for the first time. We woke the kids up at 4:00am and told them we had to go rescue Edna and Chris who had broken down in California. We stopped for breakfast about a half hour away from the Magic Kingdom and broke the news.

They were exstatic!

We entered the park around 9:00 in the morning and left around 9:00 at night. The boys were super tough and rode Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, etc. They weren't tall enough for California Screamin', so the girls and Bob did that one on their own.

I'm so glad we did it. I had a hundred reservations and reasons not to go, but we did it. It was unplanned and last minute, and I loved it!

We were home in bed by 1:00am. It was a quiet drive home, needless to say.

Did the kids say "why are always saving Chris and Edna....ugh!" That's so funny! I didn't realize you were surprising them too!
